Monaco's Tourism Figures Rising

During 2005, hotels throughout the Côte D'Azur registered on average, a rise of 1% in the number of guests taking rooms for a night in comparison to the figures for 2004.
During the same period, hotels in Monaco achieved a 15.5 per cent rise in the number of nights stayed in the Principality's hotels. Michel Bouquier, the Délégué Général of tourism stated that 'the constant modernisation and renovation of hotels plays an important role in the rising tourism levels. 2005 registered a remarkable growth, with 35,000 more visitors and 107,000 more nights stayed than 2004'.
