Flower Carnival 2005 in Le Lavandou

Only twenty minutes drive along the cost from Résidence Les Marronniers, the Flower Carnival in Le Lavandou is one of the most anticipated annual event. The idyllic sea-side town is filled with the fragrance of mimosa and the most magnificent flowers imaginable.

A procession of around twenty floats, exquisitely decorated with thousands of natural flowers, with the Carnival Queen, majorettes, trumpeters, flag throwers and horsemen parade slowly through the town.

Typically, the Flower Carnival attracts more than twenty thousand spectators and involves most of Le Lavandou's residents.
