ID bracelets available for kids on the beach

The Mutuelles d'Assurances and the Sauveteurs en Mer (Lifeguards) are providing free, plastic, water-resistant ID bracelets for all children.

This is an attempt to curb the numbers of lost youngsters on the beach. Each year around 2,000 children get separated from their families when they wonder off by themselves playing.

In almost all cases, toddlers are united with their families, but the time spent searching and waiting can be agonizing.
