ThisFrenchLife.com reports: A typical Brit looking to head to France is a retired civil servant, aged between 50 and 64-years-old, who lives with their partner and comes from the north west of England.
These are the early findings of a survey by Marie-Martine Gervais, researcher and doctor of economic science at the University Montesquieu Bordeaux IV, who is seeking to uncover why British people want to move to France.
With around 800 replies to her earlier appeal for respondents to her survey, Marie-Martine has outlined some early findings, but is still eager to hear from others.
