More passengers at Toulon-Hyères airport

Toulon-Hyères airport has experienced a rise in custom since the arrival of Ryan Air's low cost London-Stanstead flight at the end of October this year. The number of passengers going through the airport has increased by 28 percent.

The airport is expecting 650,000 passengers in 2006 (about 1,800 per day) and wishes to extend its number of flights to European cities. To run parallel with this, the airport plans to install new shops and services for passengers.
