South-West France: 60% British buyers

British buyers make up 60 per cent of people looking for a second home in the south-west of France, an estate agent has said. Paul Humphries of Knight Frank, which has ten associated offices in France, said that Britons are more keen than their continental cousins to buy abroad. Mr Humphries said in the Daily Telegraph: 'In south-west France, 60 per cent of those buying are British. The agents on the Côte d'Azur say about half their buyers are British.'
