Nice: Rolling out the first tram

Nice's much publicized new tramway system which is currently under construction, will warmly welcome the first tram sometime during the night of the 11 and 12 December.

The tram left the factory at Alstom in La Rochelle on 5 December and has ten departments to cross on its way to the Alpes-Maritimes. The big day for the Niçois is the 16 when the tram will be brought out of the maintenance building and taken to Place Masséna to become a centerpiece of the Christmas festivities..
