British owners who have helped push up the cost of homes in France are coming under the spotlight of the Gallic taxman - popularly dubbed le Fisc.
The French government - never shy of adopting extra bureaucratic and socialist measures - has begun to crack down on Brits it believes are skimping on their fiscal dues.
