Upmarket travel show opens doors in Monte Carlo

The concept behind the Monte Carlo Travel Market, which opens its doors from Friday to Sunday this weekend, was born in the back of a taxi in Paris. Its founder and President, Elyse Danino had been to 'yet another travel exhibition' and was determined to create something different.

Now in its second year, the Monte Carlo Travel Market has expanded to the Espace Ravel in the Grimaldi Forum and welcomes over 150 exhibitors offering only the best and most exclusive in travel. All have been carefully selected - private aviation companies, yacht charters of special boats, legendary train journeys and so on - and brought together in custom-designed space.
