Mayor of Nice meeting on Urban Renovation

A meeting chaired by the Mayor of Nice Jacques Peyrat was held on Monday to discuss plans for the renovation of the public housing areas in Nice Méridia, the Plan du Var and Moulins.

Twenty-four local mayors were present to discuss the proposals, put forward by M. Peyrat, in agreement with Pierre Breuil, Prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes and Christian Estrosi, the Minister involved in regional planning. All unanimously voted to go ahead with this urban rejuvenation scheme which involves nearly 3,300 apartments and 10,000 inhabitants.
