Gigaro in La Croix Valmer

Despite its proximity to the larger resorts on the Côte d'Azur (Saint-Tropez and Saint Maxime), Gigaro has nothing of the smartly styled resort about it. Rugged and rocky, with untamed wild trees growing close to the beach, this is a hidden paradise at the most southerly point of the Var.

Sheltered beneath the bay of Cavalaire, the turquoise waters of Gigaro are calmer and warmer than further up the coast, proving a first rate location to enjoy the panorama of the Côte d'Azur, without necessarily having to partake in the culture associated with it.

Gigaro's tall and uneven crags are set against a backdrop of wild Mediterranean groves - wonderful for a walk which will present fantastic views of the neighboring rocky bays where small boats often settle for a quiet afternoon in the sun.
